Army Convoy Ambushed in Manipur"s Chandel, 10 Dead, 12 Injured

Ten armymen were killed during an ambush in Manipur’s Chandel district this morning. Twelve others were injured in the attack, which is suspected to be carried out by unidentified militant group, police said.

The 6 Dogra Convoy, which was coming from Motul towards Imphal, was ambushed around 8.30 am .



 



Chandel saw a shutdown yesterday over the killing of a woman allegedly by the troops of Assam rifles.
