Protests Mar Proceedings in Parliament for 3rd Straight Day

Congress members wore black armbands in the Lok Sabha to demand the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and two BJP Chief Ministers.

The Lok Sabha was adjourned soon after Parliament proceedings began today, the third day of the Monsoon Session. The first two days of the session were washed out with the Opposition Congress refusing to budge on its demand for the resignation of three top BJP leaders and the government equally adamant that they will not quit.
