Bajirao Ranveer Was With a Younger Mastani This Weekend

Ranveer Singh, who will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Bajirao Mastani as the Maratha Peshwa Bajirao, was photographed on the sets of TV series Udaan in Mumbai, on Saturday.



The 30-year-old actor framed quite a number of endearing pictures with the show’s protagonist Chakor, played by young artist Spandan Chaturvedi.

Ranveer is on a promotional spree and sported his look from the movie on the sets. He arrived dressed in a purple kurta and churidaar, which was paired with a pink traditional coat and a turban. (Also Read: Ranveer Singh Explains Why He’s Been Missing in Action on Twitter)

Ranveer, who was captured being his usual jolly self, will make a special appearance on the show’s Ganesh Utsav episodes on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and will help Chakor find her sister.

The historical love story features Ranveer as the 18th century Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao I, while his love interest, Mastani, is essayed by Deepika. National Award-winning actress Priyanka portrays Kashibai, the first wife of Bajirao.
