Jitan Ram Manjhi's Son Caught Carrying Rs 3.65 Lakh in Cash

The younger son of former Bihar Chief Minister and NDA ally Jitan Ram Manjhi was detained today for carrying Rs 3.65 lakh in cash. The police made the discovery while checking vehicles at a checkpoint at Maqdumpur police station in Jehanabad district.

Elections are to be held in Bihar in October and the Model Code of Conduct is in place, according to which, no one is allowed to carry more than Rs 50,000 in cash.
